Lincoln Says Thanks

Lincoln County Economic Development Association is in the midst of its Business Appreciation Week. “The businesses and industries that are here do so much for the community,” said Laura Foor, LEDA’s existing business coordinator. “This is a way for the public to thank them for all they’ve done.” Tuesday featured an open house at the R-Anell Housing Group facility in Denver. Today’s open house is at Kawai America Manufacturing Inc. in Lincolnton. The Japanese based company, which rarely offers factory tours, manufactures pianos. The week’s festivities conclude Thursday with a Business After Hours at the Energy Explorium on N.C. 73 in Huntersville. LEDA and the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce will help coordinate it. The networking event is open only to Chamber members, who must RSVP with the Chamber in advance. For more information about Business Appreciation Week, contact Foor at 704-748-1503.
