Small Business

Our Communities Embrace Small Business

With 84,000 consumers living in Lincoln County, North Carolina, small business owners and entrepreneurs looking for a strong customer and client base will find it here. While our communities have a small-town feel, our residents want a lot of options when it comes to shopping and dining and the conveniences that service-based businesses can offer. They like to shop locally, too, so you can count on a warm welcome and enthusiastic support for your business here.

Lincolnton’s tagline says it all, “Near the City, Near the Mountains, Near Perfect”, and like many of our smaller communities, is a place that honors its past and embraces the future. In its downtown area, small businesses of many kinds thrive in a distinctive mix of modern and historic buildings.

No matter how small your business or big your ideas or whether you’ve been in business for a while or are just starting out, the Lincoln Economic Development Association (LEDA) is here to help. We’ll connect you with the resources you need to grow and thrive.

Your “First Stop” should be with our small business/entrepreneur Project Manager who is charged with the task of helping Start Your Business or Grow Your Business.  Access to these services are provided at no charge to businesses seeking assistance through the financial support of The City of Lincolnton and Lincoln County for our 501c3 nonprofit organization.

The LEDA Team is ready to assist you in discovering the hidden gems in our communities and all the best opportunities they have to offer your business.
