Sharing a Vision of Success

Our commitment to existing businesses runs deep in Lincoln County. From planning to public works, the Lincoln Economic Development Association (LEDA) is here for you with a team dedicated to your growth and success. We want to be your first call — for support, networking, and above all, answers.

LEDA invests in the businesses that have invested in Lincoln County, and works diligently to coordinate and leverage efforts to ensure that our business community has the support it needs to thrive.

Our award-winning approach is rooted in relationships, so that we may serve as a one-stop shop for:

  • Workforce development and training
  • Procurement information
  • Utility issues
  • Expansion assistance
  • Access to Lincolnton and Lincoln County officials and departments
  • Permitting
  • Incentive grants
  • Public hearing presentations
  • Supervisory training

LEDA is especially proud of establishing the Industrial Managers Association (IMA) of Lincoln County. We provide the support, while IMA provides the expert analysis and vision for business growth. Together, we build strong alliances between existing industries, our education system and our local government. LEDA and IMA are uniquely equipped to provide the most beneficial information and tools to support the needs of manufacturers throughout Lincoln County.

In addition, IMA offers invaluable leadership in keeping the workforce pipeline full, offering an internship program that encourages students pursuing professional degrees to come back to the community to begin their careers with local companies.
