The Lincoln Economic Development Association has hired Kara Brown as its existing business manager.

The Lincolnton resident will start her new position Monday.

“I appreciate what LEDA has done and I certainly want to continue that,” Brown said. “I enjoy their success every day so I’d like to see that continue.”

She will devote her attention to the retention and expansion of existing industry in Lincoln County.
