Husky Rack & Wire announces expansion
Lincolnton, NC, June 4th, 2018- “Lincoln County existing industry, Husky Rack & Wire, is planning to invest over $10,000,000 in equipment and building facility in the Airlie Industrial park,” said John Dancoff with Lincoln Economic Development Association. Dancoff presented a request to the county commissioners on Monday, June 4th to grant Husky Rack & Wire tax incentives based upon the county’s Industrial Incentive Grant Program. Upon the commissioner’s approval of the request, the County will provide $42,163.58 per year in grants for a five-year period after the completion of the project. The grant total is calculated to be $210,817.91
Husky Rack & Wire, based out of Denver, North Carolina, is best known as a leading manufacturer of industrial pallet rack, wire security enclosure and machine guarding. This expansion will help accommodate and meet market demands. They currently have just over 200 employees at their Denver facility and will add over 20 additional jobs to their head count.
