City of Lincolnton and Lincoln County Declare Week of April 16, 2006 Business Appreciation Week
R.W. Garcia opens their doors for a facility tour

Monday, April 17, 2006 – Proclamation – The City of Lincolnton and Lincoln County have officially declared the week of April 16, 2006 as Business Appreciation Week in the city and county. This event will be a weeklong celebration to thank business and industry for their presence and commitment to the community.
Tuesday, April 18 – R.W. Garcia Tour – Industry open house day. Those attending the open house will get the rare opportunity to view the manufacturing processes of locally made products. R.W. Garcia manufactures all natural tortilla chips and salad toppings. R.W. Garcia is located at 3181 Progress Drive in the Lincoln County Industrial Park. The tour will be held Tuesday, April 18 and begins at 10:00 a.m. sharp, one tour only. The tour of R.W. Garcia is open to the public, free of charge. R.W. Garcia has a unique and interesting operation. The public is encouraged to take advantage of this rare opportunity and attend the facility tour.
Wednesday, April 19 – Staff Appreciation Day Luncheon will be held at the First Baptist Church in Lincolnton, at noon. Call the Chamber at 704-735-3096 for more information.
Thursday, April 20 – Business After Hours – All Chamber members are invited to attend the Business After Hours on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Advanced Family Eyecare, Denver from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Please RSVP to the Chamber by Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 704-735-3096.
