Brazil Invests in Lincoln County

Construction of a 45,000 s.f. Shell Building to begin soon in the

Lincoln County Industrial Park

Lincoln County, NC – Brazilian executive Eduardo Maistro, sole shareholder of Maistro Investments LLC., is investing in Lincoln County with the construction of a 45,000 square foot shell building at the Lincoln County Industrial Park (LCIP); a groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday, August 22 to kick off the construction.  The Lincoln Economic Development Association (LEDA) will assist in marketing the facility designed for manufacturing.

Through his relationship with Panico Peres, President & CEO of No Borders Consulting Group and former board member of LEDA, Maistro Investments expressed interest in investing in the US. After a tour of Lincoln County and discussions with LEDA of the need for product to market, Maistro Investments decided to focus on the Lincoln County Industrial Park (LCIP) off Hwy 321 to build the structure.  Maistro Investments acquired approximately 11 acres, which faces Hwy 321.  The building will consist of 26 foot ceiling height, loading docks, and is expandable to 110,000 square feet. Maistro, with the help of No Borders, hired firms for architectural, engineering and construction services from the Charlotte Region to include Lincoln County.

“When I first presented the opportunity to Eduardo, I showed him LCIP on the LEDA website and pointed out the quality of his future neighbors – he was quite impressed! Then, during his visit to the Charlotte region, he simply loved the accessibility to the park and the fact that it was so close to Charlotte’s International Airport.” said Panico.

Eduardo commented: “I am very happy that No Borders, through my friend Panico, suggested this location for my investments. The quality of the companies already located in the industrial park showed me the result of LEDA’s historical success and it gives me confidence in their ability to use our prime product in order to bring more jobs to Lincoln County.”

“We can now add Maistro Investments LLC to the stellar list of companies that recognize the significance of what the Lincoln County Industrial Park has to offer.  The LEDA team will make sure this spec building is filled with a quality manufacturer that will bring jobs for our citizens for many years to come.”  Bo King, LEDA Board Chairman.

“I would like to thank Maistro Investments for taking a chance on Lincoln County to build their first spec building; I also want to thank the Shrum family for allowing the vision and development of this park to take place.  I look forward to seeing the completion of the building which will allow LEDA to market and fill with a strong company that will create many jobs and increase our tax base,” says, Lincoln County Commissioner, Cecilia Martin.

Special recognition was given to A.D. and Hilda Shrum who attended the event as well as patriarch Woodrow Shrum.  The Shrum family farmed much of the land that is now known as the Lincoln County Industrial Park, including the site purchased by Maistro Investments.
