The company will receive incentive grants totaling approximately $44,500 from the city and $48,000 from the county. Jeff Emory, Lincolnton city manager commented, “This project illustrates the pro-industrial climate that currently exists in the City of Lincolnton. “We are very pleased that Bosch has decided to increase their commitment to the economy of Lincoln County by this proposed expansion. I believe this confirms that Lincoln County is a business friendly environment and the support we endeavor to provide our existing business partners is recognized and rewarded. This expansion will provide further economic opportunity for our citizens with a highly respected firm,” commented Tom Anderson, chairman of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

Today’s news follows a previous announcement by Bosch indicating the company would invest almost $2,000,000 to add manufacturing lines and hire 45 new associates at the company’s Lincolnton manufacturing facility.
