North Carolina Announces New Manufacturing Company

Hydac Technology Inc will be the first company in the Airlie Business Park

Lincoln County: The North Carolina Department of Commerce and Lincoln Economic Development Association officially announced on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 that Hydac Technology, Inc. has chosen Lincoln County, NC for their new manufacturing facility. Hydac will be the first company to locate in the new 235 acre Airlie Business Park located just off new Hwy 16 in eastern Lincoln County.

Hydac Technology Inc., manufacturers a wide range of fluid-power products such as hydraulic filters, accumulators, valves, clamps, electronics, cooling systems and compact hydraulic for heavy duty mobile and industrial equipment. The Lincoln County facility will serve the Hydac Cooling Division, manufacturing standard and wind turbine aluminum cooling elements and complete OEM cooling systems. Hydac is a subsidiary of the German-based Hydac International with over 5,000 employees worldwide.

With an initial $9.6 million investment and 54 jobs to Lincoln County with salaries averaging $43,220, Hydac qualified for a grant in the amount of $75,000 from the One North Carolina Fund.
