BPW/NC Installs Hunter from LEDA as State President

The 92nd Annual North Carolina Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Club Incorporated, BPW/NC held their State Convention in Wilmington, NC. Rhonda Hunter from the BPW-Lincolnton Club was installed as the 2011-2012 State President. Rhonda has been the Operations Director at Lincoln Economic Development Association for the past eleven and half years. There has only been one other woman from Lincoln County to hold the State Presidents position, Hazel Andrews in 1983-84. Rhonda said “As women we must believe in ourselves first; that we have the knowledge, strength and ambition to carry us through any adversity or victory because we have done it to the best of our ability”.
