UNOX, Inc. Announces U.S Corporate Headquarters relocation to Lincoln County, NC

UNOX, Inc. has reached an agreement to relocate its U.S. Corporate Headquarters to the Airlie Business Park in Lincoln County, NC.

“Lincoln County welcomes UNOX to our community and we look forward to many years of successful growth. We appreciate their confidence in Lincoln County and

investment in Airlie Business Park”, said Cecelia Martin, Chairman of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

“This is wonderful news and a testament to what executives see when they look at Lincoln County as a possible relocation destination. We have a well trained workforce, available properties and an economic development team at LEDA that

does what it takes to accommodate companies like UNOX who want to grow in a very friendly business and manufacturing environment” said NC House Representative Jason Saine.

UNOX S.p.A., headquartered in Italy, is present in 110 countries and is the #1 producer for the number of professional commercial ovens sold worldwide each year. UNOX will purchase the Airlie I shell building plus an adjacent site to create a headquarters and future manufacturing campus at its Lincoln County location.

The Airlie Business Park was an initiative created by the Lincoln County Board of

Commissioners with a subsequent public-private partnership collaboration between the Board, Denver Construction, Inc. and the landowner, Ingleside Real Estate Investment Partners, to construct a shell building in the Park that would attract companies such as UNOX, Inc..  UNOX was introduced to LEDA by Representative Jason Saine.

Denver Construction and Campbell Design, have been awarded a contract to design and construct the interior headquarters upfit work. The initial capital investment is expected to reach approximately $4,000,000 and will include five corporate employees.

UNOX, Inc. expects to be operational in Lincoln County during the second quarter of 2017.
