Lincoln Plant to be Subdivided

The 370,076 square foot former La-Z-Boy Inc. building in Lincolnton could soon house as many as five businesses. “Of course, we’re open to leasing or selling the facility to one tenant, but it just makes sense to market the property this way so multiple options are on the table for interested parties.

Space will lease for $2 to $2.50 per square foot. The units range from 27,500 to 129,000 square feet, and most have 15 foot ceilings. Much of the building is air conditioned.

The facility off NC Highway 150 on the southwest side of Lincolnton, will likely appeal to high-end manufacturing or distributors who need docking or drive-in doors.

The site offers quick access to U.S. Highway 321, and a CSX railroad line runs nearby.

La-Z-Boy vacated the building in July when it stopped producing upholstered recliners and occasional chairs in Lincolnton.
