Lincoln County Industrial Park Continues Growth, Acquires More Land

It was announced today at the October meeting of the Lincoln Economic Development Association Board of Directors that more companies are now going to have the opportunity to locate in the Lincoln County Industrial Park. Touted as perhaps the hottest industrial park in North Carolina by state, regional and local developers, the Lincoln County park will grow with the recent acquisition of more than 100 acres. The new parcel is identified as “Parcel 7” on the attached map of the Lincoln County Industrial Park.

The newly acquired land lies on the northwest quadrant of the park. The property fronts US Highway 321 and will be a prime location for potential companies. With the addition, the park now encompasses more than 550 acres of prime industrial real estate.

Over the past several years the Lincoln County Industrial Park has experienced phenomenal growth. The park is home to a mix of international and domestic manufacturers and distributors. Cataler North America and Australian Manufacturing Incorporated are headquartered in Japan and Australia respectively. American companies in the park include American Tire Distributors, Crate&Barrel, Robb & Stucky, RSI Home Products Manufacturing Facility and Distribution Center and R.W. Garcia Co., Inc.

The Lincoln County Industrial Park is alive with activity. Robb & Stucky is currently undergoing a $4,000,000 expansion and will add an additional 180,000 square feet to its distribution center. LeeBoy has a new 220,000 square foot manufacturing facility under construction that will bring an investment of over $10,500,000 to the park. RSI Home Products is expanding its manufacturing facility by 225,000 square feet with an investment of over $9,250,000.

The Keith Corporation also has two new shell speculative buildings under construction. A 105,137 square foot shell will be located on a 20 acre site that fronts US Highway 321. The second shell will be located on a 5 acre site on Lincoln County Parkway and will be 38,480 square feet
