Cultural

The state of the Arts is alive and well, right here in Lincoln.

Our lively performing and visual arts scene reflects North Carolina’s legendary arts heritage. It includes concerts, Theatre Guild productions, symphony performances, and our Cultural Center, with its Art and History Museums and extensive arts education programs. And the surrounding area offers you a wealth of museums, galleries, concerts, plays, musicals, dance, opera, botanical gardens and popular entertainment.

A number of groups serve Lincoln County providing arts, music, and craft opportunities. Whether you are an observer or participant many opportunities to participate exist. Groups include Lincoln Arts Council, Lincoln Theatre Guild, Lincoln Community Concerts, Lincoln Chapter of the NC Symphony and Lincoln Choral Guild.

Major concerts, plays, musicals and more can also be had with a short drive into Charlotte. Visit the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Discovery Place, and the Mint Museum in Charlotte.
