Bus Service

Lincoln County is connected to the Charlotte Region through the Charlotte Area Transit System or CATS. CATS operates buses in Charlotte and its home county of Mecklenburg and six surrounding counties including Lincoln.

The 88x bus is known as the Lincoln County Express. Express buses provide a direct link from neighboring counties to the Charlotte Transportation Center in the center city. The 88x bus picks up in East Lincoln County at the Waterside Crossing Park 'N' Ride.
